About

I'm Henrik Moltke, an investigative journalist and lifelong cyclist. I live in Copenhagen and ride for team FBL. I'm 50, 195 cm tall and still in decent shape.

I spent more than a decade racing 26- and 29-inch mountain bikes, then moved into road and cyclocross. Now I mostly ride and race gravel and Zwift. My current gravel bike is a 2022 S-Works Crux, upgraded to UDH and fitted with various weight-saving upgrades.

I've lived and raced in New York with E2/Verge and in Berlin with BRC Endspurt.

My next project is a light, fast 32-inch gravel race bike. As a tall rider, I'm curious about what larger wheels might change for me. 32in.ch is where I keep track of the frame, wheels, tyres and parts, then report what I find when I can ride the bike. For now, I'm working through the build plan.

The other bikes

I also have a weight-optimised Omnium titanium cargo bike. My complete build is around 11.5 kg, including a carbon rack and steerer.

My 22 Little Wing track bike is for fun, a leftover from my New York years.

An older S-Works Venge now gets used almost exclusively on Zwift.
